KERRY RICHARDSON

Specialist Neuro-physiotherapist and Aquatic Therapist

Kerry is Director of Get Ahead Physiotherapy Limited and Specialist Neuro-Physiotherapist and Aquatic Therapist.
She qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 1995 from Middlesex Hospital and University College London and has 28 years of clinical experience.

Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
Member of ACPIN (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology), APCP (Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists) and ATACP (Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists).
Kerry has provided physiotherapy in a variety of locations for all ages during her career in the UK and New Zealand including hospitals, nurseries, schools, homes and hydrothera
py pools.

RUSS WHITING

Neuro-Physiotherapy Assistant and Specialist Disability Personal Trainer


Russ gained his BSc(Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science in 2003 and subsequently began working within the field of  sport and fitness. He has been supporting people with disabilities for 15 years as a physiotherapy assistant and specialist trainer. He is a Level 3 qualified personal trainer and Level 4 trainer in exercise and disability.

Russ is an associate member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
He is also qualified for teaching in the lifelong learning sector (CTLLS).
Russ specialises in providing unique and adapted fitness programmes for people with a wide range of abilities.
He works autonomously to create holistic, imaginative and fun programmes to support people in maximising their independence and potential.
It is a bonus that Russ also offers the role of Physiotherapy Assistant, whereby he carries out therapeutic sessions in conjunction with the physiotherapy team.

LYNSAY MILLS

Specialist neuro and pain management physiotherapist

 

Lynsay qualified as a physiotherapist in 1998 and has specialised in neurological rehabilitation since 2001. She has a wide range of experience of community based rehabilitation and has specialist training in pain management. She will soon be undertaking a course in pain management specific to children.

 

Lynsay is a member of the Chartered society of physiotherapy and the Association of Physiotherapists in Neurology. She specialises in community based assessment, rehabilitation programmes and has experience in Functional Electrical Stimulation, foot drop solutions, pain education programmes and enabling activity within the community.

Lynsay also works as a Case Manager and Expert Witness so has extensive knowledge of the medical legal process and is ideally placed to assist with rehabilitation provision within a litigation context.  


She works alongside Russ to provide bespoke rehabilitation programmes for clients as well as providing her own comprehensive rehabilitation sessions.
